Kreator

Formada en 1982 en Essen, Alemania, Kreator es una banda de Thrash Metal. Su sonido ha sido fuertemente influenciado por bandas como Slayer y Venom . Su estilo es similar al de sus compatriotas Destruction y Sodom, cabe agregar que el Thrash Metal alemán es excelente en cuanto a riffs de brutalidad y mensaje (sobre todo de guerra nuclear).

La banda fue llamada Tormentor en sus primeros días (1982-1984) y sus dos primeros demos fueron lanzados bajo ese nombre.

Luego de firmar un contrato discográfico con Noise Records en 1985, la banda finalmente cambia su nombre a Kreator, y graban su primer álbum en tan sólo 10 días, este trabajo se tituló “Endless Pain” (Dolor Interminable) la banda inicia su primer tour para promocionar este álbum contratando al desaparecido ex-guitarrista de Sodom, Michael Wulf, para un único toque en vivo junto a Kreator.

Kreator como la mayoría de las bandas a tenido cambios en es sus miembros.... pero de que nos podemos quejar con tal de que toque buena música.

Phantom Antichrist

“Phantom Antichrist” de KREATOR – edición de lujo – estará disponible en versión Digipack (2 Cd’s) y un DVD, y está previsto que surja, el próximo 1 de junio en Europa, y cuatro días después en el mercado de América del Norte. Ambos tirajes estarán a cargo del sello discográfico: Nuclear Blast Records.



Sobre el arte de la portada, el líder de KREATOR: Mille Petrozza comentó: “Jan Meininghaus es el responzable de esta maravilla… él es un artista oriundo de mi ciudad natal: Essen, Alemania. Me gusta mucho la obra de arte se le ocurrió a él para la edición limitada. Es el caos puro, poderoso y oscuro!“.
